Klara Trencsenyi is a freelance director and cinematographer committed to creative and social documentaries.
She graduated from the Hungarian Film Academy in Budapest as Director of Photography. She has been awarded various prizes for directing and cinematography.
"One Tree Left" was shot in South Kosovo in 2014. The sympathetic view of the Hungarian filmmaker shows the everyday life of an Orthodox priest who cares for less than 40 people, a young Serbian artist who feels trapped in a cage and the history teacher of a returnee village whose school is about to close. We follow them as they prepare for Easter, a time for resurrection, but fear and isolation overwhelm their hopes for a better future.
